Passports, away!

Today we are getting our passport renewals together and also filling out a new one for our son, who will be traveling with us. It is something we have needed to take care of anyway, but this new decision has pushed us to actually do it (we tend to procrastinate on some things...lol). The sad thing is that as I look at the passport forms, I just know that the upcoming adoption forms in the near future will be even more intricate, complicated, and...well... you know. Still, I feel like we are taking a step in the right direction and that in itself is exciting! Passports, away!

  1. Welcome to the journey! It has been so amazing for me to have all these other families blogging together about their experiences and providing so much support. It sounds like you are off to a great start! If you don't mind my asking, whereabouts in SC do you live? My close friend lives in Charleston.

  4. Laura and Brian, congratulations on starting your adoption journey! Very exciting!! I think it is awesome that you will be taking your son with you on your trips to Poland. Our 7 year old daughter will be traveling with us as well. She is so excited about going on the trips and being a part of her little brother joining our family.

  9. Oh my goodness everyone! Thanks so much for all your well wishes and offer to give us advice. I am sure we will be taking you all up on that. We are totally jazzed to be starting this journey and it should be quite a ride.

@Heidi- He wouldn't have it any other way and neither would we. Gotta have the boss with us when we meet his new little brother (hopefully)! lol Our son is a great kid and loves to travel. When we talked about going to Poland he said "You know Mama, I have ALWAYS wanted to travel the world" I said "Oh? Since when?" And he said (with an exasperated sigh like I am the most clueless person ever) "Since last year!". Oh, well excuse me...lol lol

@Ramie- We are in the upstate. Small world. :)
